What type of blogger are you

While my daily fix of Andrew Sullivan’s blog has been a lot smaller lately – two weeks of talking about nothing but gay marriage in California can do that have to give props today for a link to one of those great little ‘maybe Web 2.0 is more than just buzzword nonsense’ apps that reads your blog and assigns the author certain characteristics. It looks kind of Meyers-Briggsy but since I never bought their line I am not really sure, nor do I much care.

Anyhow, after a careful study of my last three months posts it has decided I fall into this category

INTP – The Thinkers

The logical and analytical type. They are especialy attuned to difficult creative and intellectual challenges and always look for something more complex to dig into. They are great at finding subtle connections between things and imagine far-reaching implications.

They enjoy working with complex things using a lot of concepts and imaginative models of reality. Since they are not very good at seeing and understanding the needs of other people, they might come across as arrogant, impatient and insensitive to people that need some time to understand what they are talking about.

Even funnier is the brain activity map:

Not so much with the feeling for others, eh? Hmmm, I wonder who I could ask about that.

My blog was typified as an INTP as well. I didn’t realize that I came across as “impatient” or “insensitive,” but anyway………. oh well!

Well done! Although I don’t know my Meyers-Briggs coordinates, I’m probably very similar to your map. Therefore you must have a sense of humor that many don’t understand or catch.
